Drew Sample Holiday Toy Drive partners with Gold Star to collect toys for hospitalized children
The Drew Sample Holiday Toy Drive is returning once again this year, and for the second year in a row now, the charity is partnering with Gold Star.Donations will be collected through Dec. 3 and will benefit hospitalized children at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital."Gold Star will be collecting monetary and facilitating in-kind donations that will support the purchase of new toys for hospitalized children of all ages who are unable to spend the holidays at home," said a representative with Gold Star in a statement. "It takes a village to spread holiday cheer, so please join Gold Star and Drew Sample in making the holiday season brighter for these young patients!"Drew Sample, a tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals, has been organizing the toy drive for several years now.Gold Star says that there are several ways to contribute to this year's toy drive.All Gold Star customers can make donations through their regular orders whenever they go to a local Gold Star restaurant. Otherwise, donations can be made online. Financial donations can be made here, while gifts can be purchased directly here from Amazon.
