Our PTs receive 2k towards CEU hours and professional licensing, and we pay 100% of malpractice. Regular PTO plus you receive an additional 15 hours per year to go towards your CEU hours! Quarterly bonus!
Monday - Friday! No Nights, no weekends!
What you'll do:
• Must perform a comprehensive evaluation of each patient to determine their specific functional limitations, pain, range of motion, and other factors that may affect their ability to move or perform daily activities.
• PT develops a treatment plan that includes specific goals and interventions to address the patients needs. The plan should be tailored to the patient's individual goals, medical history, and lifestyle.
• Uses a variety of interventions, such as exercises, manual therapy, modalities (e.g. heat, cold, electricity), and education to help patients achieve their goals.
• Regularly evaluate the patients progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. They may also use outcome measures to objectively measure progress.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their condition, treatment plan, and self-management strategies.
• Works closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Must maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care, including evaluation findings, treatment plans, interventions, and progress notes.
Additional Lead Responsibilities
Keeps missed appointment rates within acceptable ranges by using the system that the center has in place to follow up on missed appointments the same day.
Supervises PT’s, PTA’s and technicians within facility assigned.
Holds regular staff meetings to discuss operational and clinical issues of center.
Attends regular scheduled Lead meetings with supervisor to review operational and clinical issues of department.
Reviews statistical performance of department on a monthly basis.
Responsible for the identification of issues in need of disciplinary action and detailed documentation necessary to clearly define them. Coordinates with and makes recommendation to Director of Human Resources.
Works with Ancillary Services Supervisor to ensure therapy staff needs are met from the reception staff.
Evaluates the need of the capital equipment and staff needed so that the center may fulfill its rehabilitation responsibilities in therapy.
Ensures location is operating efficiently and effectively per the goals outlined by TSAOG for maximum productivity of each provider.
Evaluation of all PT, PTA’s and technicians in center on an annual basis.
What you'll need:
• Up to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• A license to practice in Texas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• The ability to analyze movement patterns and develop appropriate treatment plans.
